After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Karen moved to the west coast and launched her career in the beauty industry. She took her passion for working with small businesses to Northern California and managed the award winning Milvali Salon, helping oversee expansions in Mill Valley and San Francisco while learning the salon business from industry leaders, Deb Monti and Jessika Adams de Vasquez.

A self-described “product junkie”, Karen grew beyond the salon walls and joined the team at Oribe Hair Care, where she serviced accounts as a Brand Manager in California, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona. While with Oribe, she had the opportunity to work with hundreds of salons
and hone her knowledge of cutting edge products as well as help grow salon businesses.
Karen was part of the launch of the Luxury Brand Partners collection of brands V76, R+Co, Smith & Cult, Pulp Riot and IGK.

Karen was fortunate to meet Wade Williams in 2017 and moved to Estero, Florida to join the team at Artistry Salon. At Artistry, she is able to combine her love of helping small businesses, along with her extensive knowledge of beauty products, to help each customer find their ideal solution and feel their absolute best.
When not at the salon, Karen enjoys spending time with her dog Brooklynn, and cat Chesley.
She loves to read and expand her knowledge of health and wellness, as well as enjoy the amazing Florida sunshine and incredible wildlife.
